Manoir Blackswan is not a reception hall. It is a private estate designed as a residence. We host only one wedding at a time. For a full weekend, the 6,500 square feet of the manor, the gardens and the team belong entirely to you and your guests. No other event, no imposed schedule, no shared spaces. An exclusive wedding mansion in Châteauguay, on the South Shore of Montreal, thirty minutes from downtown and easily reached from across the Montérégie.
How it unfolds
The estate is yours. You settle in, wander through the bedrooms, gather in the kitchen or by the fireplace. This evening exists for reunions, before the celebration. No schedule, no rush.
The ceremony takes place in the gardens or in the grand salon. The reception follows, with no closing time dictated by another event. Nothing is dismantled, nothing is moved. When night falls, the manor does not close: the people who matter are already inside.
Brunch. Coffee. The conversations that only happen the morning after a wedding. You leave when you are ready.
The estate
A private residence designed and built on half an acre in the historic quarter of Châteauguay. Seven bedrooms, two dining rooms, a grand salon, a chef's kitchen and gardens that carry the manor all the way to the tent. Everything happens within the same world.

Italian marble floors, a hand-carved fireplace, and the kind of light that changes the texture of an evening. The grand salon welcomes ceremonies and receptions with the ease of a manor that has always been this way. The ceiling heights and natural light make it a photographer's room, effortlessly.
An outdoor ceremony space, in the calm of Châteauguay's historic quarter. The Sperry tent, 24 feet by 64, set on a permanent stone terrace, extends the estate naturally through the warm season. It welcomes 20 to 80 guests for a seated banquet, and up to 100 for a cocktail reception.
Every piece of furniture, every light fixture, every object was found one by one, over genuine treasure hunts. Nothing was ordered in series. Organic cotton percale bedding, two pillow styles to choose from, and quiet. Up to fourteen people sleep on site, and your loved ones wake up where the celebration ended.
500 square feet of professional kitchen, built for real use. It opens to the caterer of your choice, drawn from our address book or introduced by you. The kitchen supports the wedding you want to serve.

The estate keeps its own address book, and you draw from it freely: the heaviest part of the planning disappears. If there is someone you care about who is not on it, introduce us. We turn no one away in advance, but we meet everyone, because what happens here carries our name as much as yours.

Getting married here begins with a conversation, then a visit of the estate. We take the time to understand what you are imagining, and we guide you through every step, without rush. When the day comes, a dedicated team is on site from Friday to Sunday. You are never one file among many.
