The day

A day where nothing is rushed

The estate closes to the rest of the world for a day. Under the tent, forty mats laid on a floor of pebble, sifted for the Manoir from the white sands of Nova Scotia.

Ninety minutes of yoga in the morning, a long open stretch in the middle, a sound bath to finish. And a heated pool steaming in the October air.

10:00 a.m.

Arrival

Hot tea or fruit water, and a first look at the tent. You choose your spot, lay out your mat, take your time.

10:30 a.m.

The yoga experience with Mélissa Vaillancourt

Ninety minutes without interruption: meditation, breathwork, yoga, a return to stillness. Open to anyone who has never done it.

12:00 p.m.

Open time

The heated pool, the table, a self-guided tour of the Manor. Ninety minutes with no programme.

1:30 p.m.

The sound bath experience with Sarah Surrenders

Ninety minutes of sound bath under the canvas. You lie down, you close your eyes, and you let the sound move through you.

3:00 p.m.

Leaving

A quarter of an hour to come back gently. The rest of your Saturday is your own.

Open time

Ninety minutes of rest

After ninety minutes of yoga comes the unwinding. Around the pool, loungers, parasols and the chequerboard of Italian porcelain.

Between noon and half past one, the estate is yours. The pool is heated, the Manor is open to wander, and the table stays laid with smoothies, fruit, nuts and energy balls.
